Overhaul of the Races!

An overhaul to Achaea's race system has just been released, allowing you to choose a specialisation within your race and select from over 70 traits to augment your character's skills! Do you fit the profile of a high-strength Horkval Vindicator, a dextrous Atavian Agitator, or an intelligent Tsol'aa Sage? Will you adopt the traits of the Wild Walker, the Spice Merchant, or the Silver Tongued?

Also released in conjunction with these changes are two new artefacts: the Grimoire of Adaptation, which allows a daily reset of traits, as well as a single-use version of the same. And there's more! A slew of new racial emotions lets you intimidate your foes in the distinct manner of your own race, from the intimidating Atavian "unfurl" to the mighty Troll "confront" and the beguiling Siren "smoulder."

I'm loving it actually. It makes troll do-able as a serpent. On the other hand, I'm hoping that after I choose my traits something doesn't get changed.

I like how some of them are more for amusement than constant practicality. Life of the Party is probably one of my favorites, though one no sane character should even consider.
Pack rat just makes me laugh trying to imagine it.

well yeah, there's still ways to min/max but now in terms of speed, everyone with nimble gets the balance bonus its not raja balance but its about equal to mhun from what I've seen. Heck look at some of the dwarves running about now

I like it, I was actually planning on using my reincarnation to change to rajamala for the speed but now I can just customize my Dwarf form. No need to waste a reincarnation! Heh. It'll take some getting used to though, I'm still trying to figure out which traits are best suited to me.
